What is Kinship?
Kinship is a Pittsburgh-based gifting company specializing in thoughtfully curated gift boxes that celebrate local makers and support community causes. A portion of our profits is donated to the ALS Association.
What is included in each pre-curated gift box?
Each gift box is thoughtfully curated with a selection of premium items tailored to the theme or occasion. The price of our curated gifts includes our signature gift box, complete with paper shred and ribbon, and a handwritten note on our Kinship logo cards. You can also add a local greeting card to your order. For those looking for more economical or eco-conscious options, our custom box builder allows you to personalize every aspect of your shipment. With this tool, you can choose a complimentary notecard and opt for minimal or eco-friendly packaging to suit your preferences.
What types of gifts do you offer?
We specialize in custom and corporate gifting, offering a wide range of options from luxury gift boxes, branded goods, and personalized items to unique, curated collections. Whether you're looking to impress clients, reward employees, or celebrate special occasions, we've got you covered.
Can I customize my gift?
Absolutely! We offer extensive customization options. You can add your company logo, select specific items, and even choose branded packaging. How do I place an order?

What is the process for creating a custom gift?
Creating a custom gift with us is simple:

What is your minimum for corporate gifting inquiries?
There is no minimum for thoughtful local gifts. However, minimum quantities apply for custom-branded products and packaging.
Do you offer bulk shipping?
Yes, we offer bulk shipping for large orders. Our Bulk Shipping Wizard makes it easy to send gifts to multiple addresses in one streamlined process. For orders of 10+ gifts, contact our team to get a tailored quote.
Can I see examples of past projects?

What are your payment options?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and corporate invoicing for bulk orders.Â
For corporate orders, our pricing is based on a payment method of check or ACH transfer. If you would like to pay via credit card, a 3% credit card processing fee may be added.
How far in advance should I place my order?

Corporate Orders: For corporate or bulk orders, we recommend placing your order at least two weeks in advance. For custom and bulk orders, please allow 4-6 weeks to ensure we have ample time to create and deliver your perfect gifts.

Website Orders: For website orders, we ensure that all gifts are shipped within 2 business days at the latest. Most orders are processed and shipped the next business day. If you require expedited shipping, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Can I get a quote before placing an order?
Yes, you can request a quote by contacting our team with your specific requirements. We’ll provide a detailed estimate based on your needs.
What are your shipping options?
We offer a variety of shipping options to meet your needs, including standard, expedited, and local delivery. Shipping costs and times will be calculated at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
While international shipping is not currently available through our website, we are happy to assist with international orders on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at hello@kinshipgift.com with your request.
What if my order is delayed or damaged?
If your order is delayed or arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Can you ship my gift at a future date?
Yes! When adding an item to your cart, you can select a future shipping date for us to hold and ship later. If you don’t see this option, add the request to the notes section on your cart page.
Can I buy online and pick up at your warehouse?
Yes! You can shop online and pick up your purchases at our warehouse, located in Point Breeze at 6901 Lynn Way.
What hours are you open for pickup?
 Please use our live chat feature to schedule a pickup time, or we can leave your order with our loading dock receiving team, labeled with your name.
How do I get started?

My box is a gift – will there be a receipt or prices included?
We understand that most of our boxes are sent as gifts, so we never include receipts or inventory/packing slips inside.Â
I just received a shipping confirmation, but I requested my box be held for a later date.
No need to worry! Our system automatically sends out shipping confirmation emails with tracking numbers once your order is prepped. If you've selected or requested a delayed shipment date, rest assured your order is still being held in our warehouse and will ship at the designated time to arrive as promised.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Due to the custom and personal nature of our gift boxes, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. But don’t worry—your recipient is sure to love it!
